Three arrested on drug charges in Lake in the Hills

Three people were arrested on drug charges early Thursday after investigators found a Lake in the Hills woman dealing heroin in the northwest suburb.

Over the course of a month, authorities learned that Michelle Hall, 20, was dealing drugs from her home in the 400 block of Starwood Pass, according to a statement the McHenry County sheriff’s office. More than two grams of heroin was purchased from her during the investigation.

Authorities searched her home and found cannabis and drug paraphernalia, which also resulted in the arrests of family member Frank Hall, 27, and Megan B. Boettcher, 26, according to the sheriff’s office.

Michelle Hall faces ten felony counts related to delivery and possession of a controlled substance, including three counts of delivery within 1,000 feet of a park, according to the sheriff’s office. She was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was ordered held on a $200,000 bond and is next scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Frank Hall and Boettcher, both of Lake in the Hills, were each charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, according to the sheriff’s office. Bond was set at $1,500 each and their next court date is May 6.
